The Brief

Preparing to launch their new surf fin brand, Midfin came to us to create custom headwear to align with their premium product ethos. The result was a easy to wear, vintage-inspired corduroy hat with a 3D embroidery, yarn dyed visor rope, custom seam tape, and more.

3D Embroidery

3D Embroidery is a high impact and elevated way to present your logo. The added depth creates a premium feel and statement for your brand.

Custom Seam Tape

It's all in the details. We opted for a tonal seam tape with black repeated Midfin logos. This offered a subtle and classy feel to this detail.

Side Panel Embroidery

The side panel offers great real estate to feature a secondary logo or brand messaging. We did just that with Midfin's monogram style icon.

Woven Flag Label

Fully custom caps mean we customize every aspect, even if it isn't seen from the outside.

Sweatband Woven Label

Visor Rope

A visor rope is a great way to capture the vintage aesthetic. In this case they chose a multi-colored yarn dyed rope that tied in all the colors throughout the hat.
