The Brief

Preparing to launch their new surf fin brand, Midfin came to us to create custom headwear to align with their premium product ethos. The result was a easy to wear, workwear-inspired twill hat with a Twill embroidered patch, tonal printed checkered pattern, custom seam tape, and more.

Twill Embroidered Patch

An embroidered patch is a high impact branding decoration that conveys a nostalgic feeling . We created an iconic patch design that feels modern-heritage.

Custom Seam Tape

It's all in the details. We opted for a tonal seam tape with black repeated Midfin logos. This offered a subtle and classy feel to this detail.

Side Panel Embroidery

The side panel offers great real estate to feature a secondary logo or brand messaging. We did just that with Midfin's monogram style icon.

Fully custom caps mean we customize every aspect, even if it isn't seen from the outside.

Tonal Screen Print

Midfin wanted to add some subtle detailing that flew under the radar. We landed on a tonal checkered screen print on the under visor for a tasteful detail that added to the brands surf aesthetic.
